Cette chambre d’hôte située dans une belle maison datant de la fin du 19ème siècle du beau quartier de Zurenborg est tout à fait charmante. Tine Slosse ouvre sa belle maison avec beaucoup de chaleur. La chambre est très confortable, la salle de bain bien équipée et le petit déjeuner est délicieux (œufs, assiette de charcuteries et de fromages, excellents petits pains et viennoiseries, etc.).||On s’y sent bien et en ce qui nous concerne nous y retournons tous les ans depuis 5 ans !

Elle a fouillé dans mes affaires, était très désagréable et a inventé sur airbnb que j'avais tordu ses clefs. Je vous déconseille fortement !
Elle n'était pas contente parce que je suis venue seule au lieu d'être 2, je ne vois pas ce qu'il y a comme problème + elle a aussi fait une remarque par rapport au fait que je sois partie plus tôt... en même temps je n'aime pas rester là où on fouille mes affaires !

We had a great weekend stay in Antwerp. Tine is a lovely hostess and makes a great breakfast served with delicious breads from the French (!) baker around the corner. The best croissants we ever had in a B&B. The room was very spacious with large windows and a small balcony. Excellent bed and no loud noises. The restaurants and pubs at the square (Dageraadplaats) nearby almost makes you forget to visit the rest of the city, a hidden gem.

Staying with Tine and Fons was really awesome. Because I decided spontaneously to travel to Antwerpen, I was lucky that their room was available for the weekend. Half a day after booking I met then these very nice and kind people. Right away I felt at home in their nice room with a balkony and large windows.They prepared a really nice breakfast and had their own breakfast at the same time. So finally, we ended up talking for about two hours! That was just awesome, because they can tell you a lot about the city and its surroundings! Thanks so much for this lovely stay!

I stayed at The Welcome House for six nights while I was attending a conference in the city, and it was a perfect stay. The house was a beautiful Art Nouveau building, tastefully renovated and decorated.The room was large and comfortable, and the bed had a great, firm mattress. Though the bathroom was shared, it was not at all inconvenient. Everything was very clean. Tine made a special effort to provide wonderful breakfasts, with homemade breads and French pastries, fresh fruit and good coffee. She was a warm and excellent host and I enjoyed our conversations over breakfast very much.The tram literally left from the front doorstep and I was at the conference in short time. The city center is also just fifteen minutes away by tram. In the area, just a few minutes away by foot, are several excellent restaurants. This was a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend it: great location; easy access and public transportation; friendly and helpful insights from a native regarding what to do, where to go; and a great room and breakfast for a very reasonable price. I was even given a discount for staying longer than three nights. Antwerp was beautiful and so interesting--am definitely planning to go back a second time as a tourist, and I would definitely stay at the Welcome House again.

The residence itself is a beautiful old building, and really oozes charm. The room we stayed in is a front-facing, spacious bedroom with television, minibar and espresso-machine, with opening doors to a small balcony overlooking the street. The walls are hidden by many bookshelves containing a wealth of Dutch and English books on subjects broad and varied. Bed was firm and comfy.||||The location is great in itself, with a number of local bars and restaurants a 5 minute walk away. For getting to Antwerp central, the front door of the residence opens onto the tram-stop, which is wonderful - and in case you wonder, the windows keep the noise of the tram out entirely at night-time. It's a ten minute walk to the Centraal station, a couple of minutes by tram. ||||The hosts are a lovely couple, and every morning begins with a continental breakfast of eggs, ham, cheese, bread with coffee or tea. There is a well outfitted shared bathroom and shower, but as they pointed out guests have the right of way!||||Overall, this is a fantastic lodgings close to a great city. Would certainly recommend to friends and will be looking to stay again when we visit Antwerp.

Tine and Fons were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. It was a great pleasure to meet them both. Both were lovely people. 🙂 I was staying there for 4 nights so, I got a discount for 3 or more consecutive nights stay as stated from their website. The bedroom was very spacious and unique as it contained a massive bookshelf collection of books of all sorts. 🙂 The breakfast was lovely. I'll definitely be back again in the near future. 🙂

Een geweldige plek om in Antwerpen te logeren. Het huis is mooi en de kamer erg fijn, we hoeven zelf geen boeken mee te nemen 🙂 Ook was het ontbijt erg lekker en gaf Tine allemaal leuke tips om uit eten te gaan (beste tip ooit: ga naar Karwij aan de Dageraadplaats). Inmiddels zijn we al twee keer in the Welcome House geweest en gaan we zeker nog eens terug.
