This hotel was originally the Celtic Ireland Hotel and is now part of a chain - City Partner Hotels (CPH) so consequently has undergone some improvements. The hotel has retained many of it's original features which are really unusual and add to the overall character of the hotel. The bedrooms have been renovated and are surprisingly modern and spacious. The bathroom is way above the official 2 star rating with a huge bath and seperate shower. The beds are really comfortable and all rooms have a flat screen TV and free wi-fi. Because the hotel has kept it's original features there are some parts that look in need of renovation, which is hard to do without losing it's quirky feel, so try to keep this in mind. There is a lovely large garden/terrace area. Since this is a small hotel with only 14 rooms, the check-in may be a little odd - sometimes you have to call the sister hotel (Mondo) number if there is no-one around. They seem to be quite strict about the check-in time of 3pm. The location is fantastic just minutes from the beach & centre. I did like the quirkiness of this hotel and for this reason would stay again as it's to my taste. If you want everything absolutely perfect and 4* standard then it's not the hotel for you. This seemed like a new hotel in an old house. The ground floor used to be a celtic pub. The room and bathroom were big. Bathroom had both shower and tub and it was clean and fresh. The owner had an "its not all abt money-attitude". During our week we stayed he arranged a barbecue grill for the longer staying guests. For free! How often do you see that happen? Highly recommended!

Weekendje zee, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt, en heel mooi interieur!||Wij hadden nieuw bed, nieuwe badkamer, nieuwe tv, ze zijn nog aan het renoveren maar het wordt beslist top!||Het was heel fijn!
