This private house was not obvious in the street but we were met by the friendly retired couple running this four-bedroomed bed and breakfast. He parked the car for us as soon as a space became available because their garage was blocked. On-street parking is free however. We were on the second floor with an ensuite and it was everything we wanted and more. Our large bedroom window looked out onto a pretty little garden below, albeit surrounded by other old buildings and the blank wall of the theatre next door. Breakfast was laid out for all guests on one big table which we shared. The weather wasn't warm or dry enough to have it outside but it must be lovely in the summer. They don't really do baths in France and it would have been nice to have one, but that is not really a complaint. All in all, a really pleasant night's stay, with everything in walking distance, yet still in a quiet street. Really nice people.
