Hôtel pratiquant l'overbooking, nous avons été déplacé dans un "hôtel" très bruyant à côté et avons dû partager la salle de bains (sans clés). Déception pour toute la famille, très mauvaise expérience.

This small hotel is part of the larger Hotel Postiljon, they share the same entrance, reception and breakfast room. Our room was not luxurious but clean, the bed and the bathroom were ok. A main disadvantage was that the bathroom, with the toilet, missed a door and also one of the walls, separating the bathroom from the rest of the room, did not reach till the ceiling. Thus, this bathroom with toilet facilities does not offer much privacy and this should be considered when, and with whom !, booking this hotel. Another negative point was that music from somewhere nearby the hotel was audible till about 1 o’clock in the night. The room had a small area with a fridge and a coffee machine. Breakfast was very adequate and the staff was friendly. Wifi worked well. Underground parking facilities (Groenplaats) are close to the hotel. The main attractions of this hotel are its location in the very heart of Antwerp and just opposite the beautiful Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe Cathedral, and the price. We consider this hotel a good option for a short visit to Antwerp.

Right next to the cathedral, slap bang in the old center, wonderful ambiance. But once inside (the entrance goes via the Hotel Postiljon) it gets dodgy,. Reception is friendly and explain the combination of 2 establishments : Maison is the more luxurious part. Which means only that there's tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom door is plastic foldaway without a handle... The shower is great but splashes all over the place. It looks like a rather old and tired place. But the lady insists on frying me an omelet when I explain about my allergies. So breakfast,though it is not great, was great anyway. I thought it a tad expensive for the quality but the service was priceless

Posizionato, a 50 secondi a piedi dal Grote Markt e accanto alla Cattedrale di Antwerpen, posizione strategica per girarsi la città se avete solo un week-end a disposizione.Hall piccola, personale molto cordiale che parla correttamente inglese, francese e fiammingo. Stanza e bagno di dimensioni accettabili, tv schermo piatto letto grande , macchinetta per il caffé SENSEO e bollitore per l'acqua in camera.Frigobar vuoto, poco male per me tanto di solito non lo uso mai.L'igiene lascia un pò a desiderare, muffa nella vasca della doccia e una grossa macchia nella moquette. Stanza silenziosa. La colazione è molto varia a buffet.Ci puoi trovare un pò di tutto salumi, formaggi, frutta, cereali,croissant caffè lungo e tè.Dubito che facciamo cappuccino o espresso, ma il caffè lungo non è male. Sala per la colazione molto carina e accogliente.

Inizio con il dire che la struttura è praticamente attaccata alla cattedrale di Anversa, questo significa che starete in centro vicino a quasi tutto e soprattutto sarete in zona pedonale, lo sto precisando per chi ci vuole arrivare in macchina, quindi sappiate che la macchina va lasciata al parcheggio sotterraneo che c'è nelle vicinanze o quello in strada, sappiate che i parcheggi sono carissimi, quello sotterraneo va oltre i venti euro al giorno e quello in strada oltre i sette euro per circa 3 ore (non rinnovabili), quindi prima di scegliere questo albergo regolatevi di conseguenza. L'entrata principale dell'albergo è chiusa per dei lavori interni alla struttura stessa, e ci si accede tramite un altro albergo adiacente, le stanze sono senza pretese, letto un po' scomodo, niente comodino,un armadio un po' scassato, ma in compenso bagno nuovo e pulito. per arrivare alle stanze una scala un po' scomoda, insomma...niente di che, ma alla fine se ci dovete dormire e andare in giro per il resto della giornata va bene!! La colazione non è male, il personale gentile. Wi fi gratuto con buon segnale, se volete spendere poco ( e vi accorgerete che non è facile in belgio e ad anversa) allora ve lo consiglio, ma non aspettatevi un hotel di lusso!!!

Das Hotel Maison d'Anvers ist der bessere Teil des 1-Stern-Hotel Postijllon. Frisch renoviert, für ein Stadthotel ansprechend grosse Zimmer. Liegt ideal direkt bei der Kathedrale. Free Internet, aber kein Zimmersafe. Gutes kleines Frühstücksbuffet. Kein Lift, man muss also die Koffer über eine steile Treppe in den 2. Stock hochschleppen. Keine Zufahrt zum Hotel, da Fussgängerzone.||Das Hotel wäre nicht schlecht für einen Citytrip, aber leider ist jede Nacht im Nachbarhaus eine Band am spielen, so dass vor morgens um 02.30 an Schlaf nicht zu denken ist.

Actually this is not a Hotel for its own, but is forming part of the Hotel Postiljon, as it is sharing the receiption and the breakfast room with the later one. The location is directly in the center of the pedestrian area around the cathredral, and thus not accessable by car, nor can a car be parked in the vincinity of the Hotel. i used the Garage "Groenplatz", which is costing abt € 18,00/night and is abt 3 minutes away by feet,The room was located to the backside and was large and well furnished in a modern style (missing fridge and minibar). The bathroom was large as well and in modern style with a large shower compartment, no tub. The staircase to my room in the 2nd floor was verry narrow and step. Breakfast was Ok.
