This is one of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed in. The hosts were very welcoming, the generous room and bed were very comfortable and there were lots of thoughtful extras that made us feel very spoilt (razor and shaving foam, tea & coffee facilities, dressing gown and many more). And the breakfast, served in a very pretty garden, was superb. Our hosts were completely relaxed when we informed them we were vegetarian on the evening we arrived and put on a delicious breakfast the next morning. Fresh fruit, delicious bread and cheeses, home made jams and much more.

we were looking for a calming getaway in the country side and the b&b was a great answear to that. the hosting was fantastic and generous. we got picked up from the station by Louise and also he drove us back. we are vegans and Moniqe was more then happy to prepare breakfast for us. We did a countryside walk in the nature which Louise and Moniqe recommended for us and it was lovely and beautiful. Louise also drove us to the begining of the walk. amazing and comfortable room. over all was great stay and we would definetly recommend to anyone.

Spoonfeeding

We lucked out in finding this place - think we just looked for the closest place we could crash out). It's run by a very friendly family (with even friendlier dogs!), and is just lovely, outside and in. Despite being in the same house and sharing a bathroom and hallway with the owners and any other guests, it *feels* very private, so you have the luxury of a hotel-like privacy in your room, while enjoying all the warmth and hospitality of a B&B. Win/win! ||The rooms (ours, anyway), were also quite spacious, with a large bed, dining table and chairs, couch and coffee table, writing desk, armoire - plus it included a bunch of bottled water, some biscuits, a coffeemaker, and all sorts of varieties of teas and cocoa mixes, as well, which just added to the feeling of being able to relax and hole up with your significant other. This had technically been a business trip, but it turned into a romantic getaway. :)||||I wish I could find the pics I took (the whole place is just lovely - lots of wood, tastefully decorated, and so clean you could eat off the floor), but the ones posted are representative. I might add that the street view looks nothing like the actual place; as soon as you're past the gate it's all sprawling, lush greenery. The skylights (even in the bathroom) were an especially nice touch.||||Last, but far from least: BREAKFAST! Sooooo good! Coffee, tea, juice, fresh breads and jam, meats and cheeses, fruit, eggs, granola and yogurt, great conversation - probably other things I'm forgetting. Suffice it to say you probably won't need lunch. :)||||I loved our visit and would stay again in a heartbeat. You won't regret staying at this sweet little inn.

B&B Heimdall was voor onze geplande uitstappen op zaterdag en zondag perfect tussenin gelegen. We werden er hartelijk, vriendelijk en familiaal ontvangen. We verbleven met 3 mensen in de ruime tuinsuite. De bedden waren breed en we sliepen heerlijk op de kwaliteitsvolle matrassen. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de aparte tv-kamer maar dit was een leuke extra. De badkamer was ruim en voorzien van alle mogelijke benodigdheden, van kleine flacons douchegel en shampoo tot een haardroger toe. Zowel de kamer als de badkamer waren duidelijk heel hygiënisch onderhouden. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid. We zouden deze B&B zonder twijfel aanraden!

Een absolute aanrader!! Wat een ontzettend warme plek.
Lieve ontvangst door Louis en Monique. Onze hond was ook welkom en mocht bij hen in de woonkamer liggen, toen wij de deur uitgingen.
Té lief!
Heerlijke ruime kamers van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hadden de tuinkamer, met een uitzicht op een prachtige tuin. Heerlijk wakker geworden met het geluid van de vogeltjes. Dat zijn wij niet meer zo gewend als stadsmensen.
Met als verrassing een super ontbijt, verse eitjes uit de kippenren, gerookte zalm, abdijkazen, vers fruit, rauwkost, broodjes, noem maar op.
Menig hotel kan hier een puntje aan zuigen.
Als wij weer die kant op gaan, zullen wij zeker terugkomen.

I and my co-worker were stayed there for three night. I would said this hotel is the best hotel in that area. The room was very clean, you feel like you are at home. The location was not too bad for a small village like that. The service was great, I feels like I was in a five star hotel. The best thing about the hotel was the food, especially the soup. I have never tasted the taste in my life. It was so delicious. It was prepared by the owner's wife. I would never forget about this place and the couples, I would like to stay there every times I go there. The couples was very friendly, we was there for 3 days, and the owner provided all the transportation to the places we want to go, at a very lower price. I would rated this place with 5 star. It's really a great place to stay if you are traveling at that area. Great bed & food, and best service. |

For those who are looking for a great place to relax this is the right place to stay. Not far from Antwerpen, the owners will treat you with discretion, courtesy and lots of attention! At our arrival we were offered local organic strawberries and superb Belgian chocolate. We were then offered a tour of the garden and the many different plants which are used for cooking and personal welness. Moreover, you will be able to enjoy the company of "Le Professeur" a friendly and gentle puppy. Not to mention, the amazing breakfast served with organic products. Do not miss the wonderful jams prepared by the owners.

We could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful setting . The accommodation was excellent the hosts were so welcoming even presenting us with a card and a bottle of champagne on the morning of our 50th wedding anniversary, also taking us into the local restaurant and picking us up after the meal. such lovely people.
