Quel lieu incroyable ! Nous avons passé 2 nuits en couple dans l’une des chambres. Calme, confort, luxueux, dans une magnifique rue d’Anvers.
Les hôtes ont été tout simplement parfaits avec nous : accueillants et chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner 10/10 !

Prachtige B&B in wellicht de mooiste en beroemste straat van Antwerpen! Het onthaal was zeer warm en aangenaam, de kamer was prachtig, stijlvol ingericht en op alles voorzien. Dit is zeker een aanrader indien je een citytrip in Antwerpen overweegt. De B&B ligt op enkele minuten stappen van het station Berchem. Op minder dan 10 minuten sta je in het centrum van Antwerpen

We hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf in The Silver Room.
We waren gecharmeerd door het mooie herenhuis, midden de Cogels-Osylei, dicht bij Berchem station.
Het was leuk informatie over de Cogels-Osylei op de kamer te vinden. Het bed was van prima kwaliteit en het ontbijt heel verzorgd.
Het vriendelijk onthaal door jou en je vrouw maakte ons verblijf een toppunt.

We recently stayed at this bed and breakfast, and while the building itself is beautiful and the surrounding street charming, there were several aspects that made our stay less enjoyable than anticipated.

The room itself was nicely decorated, but we felt that it could have been a bit cleaner. For example, the kettle was dusty and still had old water in it, which was a bit off-putting. Some basic amenities, such as tissues, cups, and glasses, were missing and only provided after we specifically requested them. Additionally, there was only soap available at one of the two sinks, which was a small but noticeable inconvenience. The bathroom could also use some updates, particularly the grout between the tiles, as it showed signs of wear. These details made the overall cleanliness and maintenance feel lacking.

The atmosphere at the bed and breakfast was a bit more impersonal than we had hoped, especially considering the smaller size of the property. We were missing that warmth and welcoming feeling that often makes bed and breakfast stays special. The check-in process was particularly rushed and felt more like a task to be quickly dealt with than an opportunity to welcome us as guests.

Furthermore, we were contacted the evening before our arrival and asked if we could check in at 5 PM or later instead of the listed 3 PM. This was inconvenient for us, as we had already planned our day and had been in the city since midday. In a bed and breakfast, we believe that the host should honor the check-in times they set, and a 3 PM check-in should be available when advertised. It felt as though we had to accommodate the host’s schedule, which left us with the feeling that we were an inconvenience.

Over the weekend, the stay was peaceful, but on Monday, the noise from the ongoing construction work on the tram tracks directly in front of the house disturbed us significantly. Due to the loud construction early in the morning, we decided to check out earlier than planned. Given the noise and the overall experience, we felt that the price didn’t quite match the value, particularly in terms of attention to detail and the overall warmth we had expected.

Unfortunately, when we checked out early, the host wasn’t present, and we were unable to pay the tourist tax. We fully intended to pay it later, but what happened next was quite shocking: the host ran after us down the street, yelling loudly, which we found aggressive and unnecessary. This behavior left us feeling quite uncomfortable. A simple reminder via email would have been much more appropriate, as we would have gladly paid the tax via transfer or PayPal. Running after us and shouting was, in our opinion, a complete No-Go.

While there were certainly some positives, we believe that addressing these issues could significantly improve the experience for future guests.

For our 25th Anniversary, my husband & I had the pleasure of staying at Garden of Eden B&B located on the stunning Cogels-Osylei street in Antwerp, and we can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the home and how immaculately clean everything was — spotless rooms and common areas that felt fresh and inviting. The attention to detail in every corner made it clear that Adam & Rhadika truly care about their guests' comfort.

The personal touches throughout the space were wonderful. From the cozy decor to the thoughtful amenities, it was clear that no detail was overlooked. Adam & Rhadika were incredibly pleasant and respectful, offering assistance when needed but always giving us space to enjoy our stay.

The location was perfect—situated on the iconic Cogels-Osylei street, known for its breathtaking architecture, it made exploring Antwerp so convenient. We were able to walk and bike to many local attractions, and public transport was easily accessible when needed.

And let’s talk about the breakfast! We opted to puchase the breakfast option and in the morning, we were treated to delicious, freshly brewed coffee and a delightful breakfast spread that made starting the day a real treat.

If you’re looking for a place that combines uniqeness, cleanliness, charm, convenience, and exceptional hospitality, Garden of Eden B&B is an absolute gem!

We loved our stay here. We’d visited the street a few years ago, so it was a delight to stay on such a beautiful historic location. Speaking of location, it was perfect. Getting to the city center was easy. But the proximity to the Berchem rail station also means easy connections to other cities and the Brussels airport. Plenty of local restaurants to walk to in a relaxing neighborhood. The rooms were generous and beautiful, and the beds were so comfortable. And the hosts were great. They even let us know that a big storm was predicted for the afternoon, so we were able to plan for it and not get caught in the rain. Highly recommended!

We recently were fortunate enough to stay in the family suite, and hope we’ll get to return someday! The rooms were beautiful and generous in size with 14 foot ceilings, crown moldings, stained glass doors, a very large bed room, living room space, and a sunroom with small balcony. The bathroom was large and modern with great water pressure. The location was convenient to the train station and it was easy to get to the city center. There were many nearby eating and drinking establishments that we enjoyed. The hosts were friendly and very responsive to questions and making helpful suggestions. It was truly a magnificent house on one of the most beautiful streets in Belgium! We highly recommend it! #gardenofedenantwerp
