Redelijke camping, niet duur, €18 per nacht in het hoogseizoen is zeker goedkoop te noemen.
Er kan wel een lijstje worden gemaakt van verbeterpuntjes.
- De douches zijn redelijk, maar de toiletten zijn ronduit smerig, vieze strepen die niet weg te krijgen zijn, die zijn echt aan vervanging toe.
- Er kan alleen cash betaald worden, dat is niet meer van deze tijd. Bij het betalen kreeg ik ook geen kwitantie, dit doet vermoeden dat men het hier met de belastingmoraal niet zo nauw neemt.
- De bereikbaarheid is slecht. Er staan nergens richtingbordjes, de weg is erg smal en de maximale doorrijhoogte onder de spoorbrug is 2,5 m, er werd gezegd dat 2,6 ook kan, maar dat heb ik niet uitgeprobeerd.

We (two cyclists with a tent) had a great stay here - it's a great, quiet place surrounded by farmland. Way more peaceful and cheaper than the large holiday-park-style camping places in the area: we paid 12€.
The campsite is still a work-in-progress, they are still renovating some parts, but everything you need is there and the staff is lovely! Very recommendable!

A great campsite, middle of nowhere, very quiet. The owner, Wendy, a gem of a person, couldn't have been more helpful, we turned up after reception had closed, quite happy to deal with paperwork in the morning.
Pitch had electricity, water at various places around site, showers/toilets very clean, showers free, vending machines with snacks, sweets, juice, wine and beer. All of this for €20 a night, what a bargain. If you are in this area make a note to stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay here for four nights in the 'Maldives' cabin. The campsite is peaceful and charming but the highlight is the host Wendy. She was full of great suggestions for places to visit and could not have been more helpful. If you are looking for a quiet stay in the beautiful Flanders countryside then this is a great campsite to visit.

Normaal gezien een verblijf gepland voor 3 nachten maar hebben deze verlengd tot 7 nachten . Een leuke kampeerplaats met zeer vriendelijke uitbaters die steeds tot u dienst willen zijn .
Zeer leuk om te zien dat deze kampeerplaats steeds meer wordt opgebouwd tot een volwaardige camping waar ik zeer zeker een vakantie kom doorbrengen !

The place is just outside the city, in the middle of the fields, therefore quiet and serene. The ponds, canals and small patches of trees enrich the biodiversity; I still remember hundreds of birds singing every morning. Magical. Also suitable for larger groups. The owners are kind and flexible. They are working hard to turn the area into a very attractive one and eliminate all minor defects
