Nous avons passé 9 nuits dans ce bed and breakfast récemment et nous avons été très content de notre choix! Nous avions le mini-studio avec petit frigo et tout ce qu'il faut pour se débrouiller pour se faire un petit repas. La chambre est assez spacieuse, la douche minuscule, mais au moins nous en avions une que pour nous! De cette chambre on a accès directement à la cour arrière et par ce fait même c'est très calme (le boulevard étant situé à l'avant de la demeure).||Seul bémol pour nous la connexion internet était assez mauvaise, il fallait ne pas trop bouger et souvent se reconnecter...mais bon c'est un détail.||||Bridie est une hôte très sympathique et agréable, nous avons dormi 2 nuits a l'extérieur et on ne s'est pas inquiété de laisser nos choses! D'ailleurs elle est très flexible pour le petit déjeuner, pour 2 matins où nous devions quitter très tôt nous avons eu droit à des croissants dans notre chambre. L'endroit est bien situé à 30 secondes de marche du métro où l'on a le choix de 2 lignes très pratiques, il y a plusieurs restos intéressant tout près.||||Bref nous y étions très bien, à recommander!

My husband and I spent 2 nights here in mid-May. The room was simple and clean with coffee/tea ingredients in the room. Bridie was actually out of town most of the time we were there so her staff assisted us. They seemed friendly enough. The location was definitely not in the city center. The place is just a 2-minute walk to a metro station and 15 minutes on the metro will take you to the Grand Place. We took the metro for 2 stops to the Rogier station and then changed to the tram and took that for 3 stops to the Bourse station. From there, it is a 2-minute walk to the Grand Place. If you are used to big cities and public transportation then this is no problem. If you are not used to this, then you might feel like you are far away from the tourist sites. We did not find it to be a problem. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. I found the shower a little difficult to get into and out of. There was a very high side to step over and this might be difficult for elderly guests. The breakfast room was upstairs on the second floor and was bright & colorful. Bridie's staff offered to make us eggs to go with the fruit, cold meats and pastries that were set out. They also offer a full Irish Breakfast since Bridie is actually Irish. Having been to Ireland before, my husband was familiar with this type of breakfast and was excited about it so I emailed Bridie in advance to let her know he would be ordering that. Parking is not really near the hotel. It is up the street and UNDER the park. If you can avoid driving in Brussels, it is a good idea to do so. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was not the most amazing B&B experience we've ever had but the room was simple and clean. It was also extremely inexpensive.

We booked two rooms at Bridies Bed and Breakfast for our trip to Brussels to see our Aunt who lives in the Molenbeek area. I knew our stay would be a success from the moment I first emailed with Bridie. She made me feel as though I was calling my favorite cousin overseas to scheduled a visit. The location was very convenient for both visiting our aunt and for getting to the metro. She is steps away from the Simonis Elizabeth stop which is a great one because it begins and ends here so no possibility of missing the stop. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We will be staying with Bridie again that is for sure.

From the first email Bridie sent me I knew I'd stay at her place no-matter-what! You could tell she was absolutely friendly, helpful and fun. She gave me perfect directions and I got to her lovely house with no problem. I spent 8 nights in the Ralph Lauren room and the whole stay was fantastic! Bridie is that kind of person who you feel comfortable with from the first minute you see her - she made me feel so much at home right away! She showed me around the house, explained everything, gave free maps and even invited to a party they hosted for her friends. So very nice of her! Even though she had to leave couple of days later she "hand me over" to her amazing friend Nicole how also took absolutely great care of me. ||The house is within 1-2 minutes walk from "Simonis" metro station, I found the area to be safe (traveling as a solo female) and pleasant with a huge park (opposite direction from the metro) and the cathedral. Once or twice I took a walk to the Brussels "downtown" area but mostly used very convenient metro. ||Ralph Lauren room was amazing with a huge comfy bed, little fridge, TV, heating (and extra blankets), tea/coffee/cattle, private bathroom with towels/hairdryer. And the interior is just wonderful! ||Breakfast was sort of "upon request" meaning they ask you what time you want it to be served and what would you like to have. I'm a light-morning-eater so a bowl of cereal and a couple of toasts were enough for me. But they always told me that if I'd like some hot and reach breakfast they'd be glad to make one. ||I'm sure my first visit to Brussels wouldn't be so great if it's not for Bridie and Nicole and Bridie's B&B! Definitely would recommend this place to my friends.||Thank you, Bridie and Nicole!

Il B&B è situato nella storica Boulevard Leopold II a pochi passi dalla metro e dalla Stazione di Simonis e vicino alla Basilica Nazionale del Sacro Cuore. Nelle vicinanze ci sono diversi ristoranti italiani. La nostra camera, al piano terra, era spaziosa ed attrezzata con un angolo cottura, frigorifero, forno a microonde, stoviglie, tv satellitare, wifi gratuito. Durante la nostra settimana di soggiorno Bridie, la proprietaria, ha avuto cura di rifare i letti e cambiare asciugamani, pulizia impeccabile. La colazione era sempre abbondante e la signora si informava anche sulle nostre preferenze per poterla rendere speciale, ad esempio mi preparava ogni mattina il caffè Lavazza o di "George Clooney", come diceva lei simpaticamente. L'accoglienza è stata indimenticabile, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Bridie dava anche consigli su cosa visitare e come spostarci fornendoci delle mappe. Vi soggiornerei nuovamente.

Vicinissima alla metro, la casa della signora Bridie è stata davvero comoda per visitare la città di Bruxelles. ||Molto cortese ed ospitale, la padrona di casa ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo stati a casa nostra, offrendoci una stanza gigantesca ed una ottima colazione, sempre diversa nei 3 giorni in cui abbiamo sostato nella capitale belga. Decisamente consigliato.

From the moment Bridie greeted us upon arrival, we knew we had made the right choice. We spent 2 nights in the Ralph Lauren room and it could not have been better. The room is beautifully decorated with a big comfy bed, fridge, free wi-fi, and a large bathroom. A plentiful hot breakfast is included each morning and is served in the most amazing dining area. Bridie was the most gracious host ever providing answers to all our questions and added several recommendations for restaurants and markets. We could have spent hours just chatting with her. The metro is literally 30 seconds walk from the front door. We arrived by car on a Saturday and were able to park right in front for free. Not sure about parking on weekdays. We ate downtown, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area as well. We will definitely return to this amazing B&B!

I have stayed at Bridie's twice now... once 5 years ago and again a few days ago. Both times I had a great experience. Bridie, the host, is very sweet and helpful. The B&B is clean and comfortable.The rooms are spacious and each unique (I have stayed in 2 different ones). The location is great (100 meters from metro and bus stop, 25 minute walk to Grand Place, near a large park). Breakfast is always fresh and yummy. Great value as well!
