Super mooie kamers, en een warm onthaal. Locatie in hartje Gent, we zaten overal dichtbij. De serre op het dak, was het kersje op de slagroom, wat een prachtig uitzicht over de stad.
Aan werkelijk alles is gedacht, en aandacht aan besteed.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben we gehad! Luxe appartement met het gevoel alsof je in Gent woont. Hier is veel aandacht en liefde aan besteed. Veel privacy, maar als je iets nodig hebt of wilt weten kun je makkelijk contact krijgen. En vergeet het dakterras niet met het mooie uitzicht in de avonduren met alles lichtjes van Gent. Wij hebben genoten! 🙏

Wow, I adored this b&b - in fact I think it's quite the nicest one that I've ever stayed in! It's full of gorgeous furniture and objects and our bedroom was divine. The lovely owners are an architect and interior designer and it shows - everything is uber stylish but it's also very relaxed. There's thoughtful touches everywhere - the softest bed linen, heavenly soap and shampoo in the bathroom, Smeg fridge with help-yourself drinks in the kitchen area and a list of recommended places to eat/visit/shop in your room. You can chill out in the guest lounge and there's also an fabulous roof area. We had a yummy breakfast on Sunday morning - a lovely spread laid out buffet style and fab coffee - so do have it. We can't wait to return - truthfully we'd just like to live there!!

The name says it all. The Great Gent is well located in the heart of Gent. The hotel is very modern, well appointed with all and everything one can need and ask for. The owners are first rate people who offer you a feel at home atmosphere with delicious breakfasts included. We stayed there four days for a wedding and felt totally in love with the place, the city and the people. Would return in a flash and recommend this place highly to anyone who likes a small well designed apartment hotel.

Fantastic place in every way! Located right in the old city center, the riverbank with a wonderful Castle view are just around the corner.
Great facilities/furnishing in lobby and kitchen as well as the room. One of many highlights is the rooftop with an outlook that must be the second best city panorama right after the ohne from the Gravensteen Towers 😉
Last but not least an amazing and welcoming owner - always available for help or requests.
We couldn‘t have enjoyed our trip more!

This lovely place lives up to its name; great location, great rooms, great welcoming! There is a lot to love about this place, the welcoming hosts, the view from the roof top terrace, the perfect location in the most beautiful part of town, the comfortable room and the very generous breakfast! We warmly recommend it to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Gent!

Not only ticked all the boxes for a great place but also doing it in style! Everything was amazing! We loved staying here.||We stayed in the rentable appartement, a spacious beautifully designed comfortable house complete with kitchen, small walk-in closet, living room and balcony. The design was present even in the smallest of details like cups or soap. The kitchen had everything you would need, even things like salt and pepper. The only downer was the cheap (only black) tea. And no hand soap in the kitchen.||The bed was big and soft. The night stands weren’t that practical like a metal night stand (makes a lot of noise when you trying to sleep) and a big bright night lamp which leaves little space for your stuff. And no alarm clock.||The bedroom connects to an open bathroom with plenty of room for your stuff, a really good blow dryer and a stool. The rain shower was really nice too. Too bad you can’t place your own stuff anywhere here. ||The living room is really spacious with a big table, a comfortable couch and a very small TV. There were leave-lets, magazines and books with a lot of nice suggestions of what to do or where to eat or shop in Gent. Keep in mind, there’s an edge (a step) because the living room is slightly higher. An the apartment is only reachable by stairs. ||The location is just perfect; ver close to all the old city centre (a few minutes walking) and still nice and quiet at night. They even have a green house on the roof (only reachable with a elevator) with a couch and chairs with a beautiful view on the well lit city centre. ||There’s a relax room filled with suggestions and a big map with best locations to eat. Some nice jazz music playing to set the mood. And a breakfast room, also beautifully designed. And you can take a drink (soft drinks, wine, beer) from the fridge whenever you want. The breakfast was amazing too with different cheeses, nuts, omelet, mozzarella, tomatoes, yogurt, fruit, granola, danish, jams, tea or coffee, chocolate (Dutch not Belgian).||The proprietress was very friendly and helpfull. Sending us detailed instructions on how to get there, where to park, giving us suggestions on where to eat or what to do. Really flexible too, we could stay longer in our room after checkout time. Across from the b&b there’s a small parking place (behind green doors) where you can park (if reserved). |

Absolutely fantastic experience at B&B Great. ||||This is truly a perfect place to stay in the middle of Ghent. Our room was wonderful with a lot of space, gorgeous accents and an incredibly comfortable bed. We also loved the rooftop patio and got some fantastic recommendations for restaurants nearby.||||While Ghent may have countless B&B options, I would highly recommend booking at B&B Great (before it books up)!
