Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Kathleen. Les chambres sont propres, grandes et bien agencées. Le bnb dispose depuis peu d'une piscine chauffée. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et Kathleen s'adapte aux régimes particuliers sur demande (ce qui était mon cas). L'endroit est calme et proche de la ville. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Il y a aussi un parking, un sauna (en supplément), un parc avec des ânes et la possibilité de louer des vélos (10€ par jour). Ce lieu convient aux couples, aux familles et aux amis. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

B&B De Hessie was perfect for our family. Katleen was a great host. We had adjoining rooms plus a cot, just right for our family of 5. The 2 year-old loved the play room. It's really a beautiful setting with the green fields, donkeys, swing, sauna, and laundry facilities. It was so quiet, and close to Turnhout where we were visiting friends. The beds were very comfortable, a must when you're away from home! Thanks, Katleen!

Moderne kamer geboekt. 1 woord: Waauw!
Vroeger dan verwacht toegekomen, sleutel van de kamer netjes hangend aan de deur gevonden MET een vriendelijk welkomst tekstje erbij. Feeëriek zicht op de natuur, alles ademt comfort en degelijkheid uit, heerlijk bed, oorverdovend STIL!! Fantastisch! Dank je wel Kathleen voor de ontvangst en het koninklijk ontbijt.

We hadden een erg gezellig verblijf in deze charmante B&B. De landelijke kamer is heel ruim en netjes. Elke kamer heeft een terras. De kinderen vonden de boomhut, de ezeltjes en de pingpongtafel heel leuk. Het ontbijt is er heerlijk met voldoende variatie als je enkele dagen verblijft. De gasten kunnen ook gebruik maken van het zwembad. Met vragen kan je steeds bij de eigenares terecht evenals voor een leuke babbel. Een aanrader!

We stayed for the first time at B&B De Hessie in the modern room. We had severe delay with our flight and arrived in the middle of the night, nevertheless Kathleen was there to welcome us and shortly show us around.||the room is extremely spaceous, like having your own flat, and has all comfort you need. Breakfast was great, lots of delicious things to choose from. We rented the bikes for a ride in the woods. The area is really nice, very quiet, but still close enough to the city.||the room does not have a kitchen but we were welcome to get something from the breakfast area or use the kitchen. It did have great coffee and tea amenities.||Will definitely go back again!

We stayed in B&B De Hessie at the weekend for one night. If you don’t have a car you can take the very scenic walk along the cycle path or grab a 2-3 minute taxi ride. ||||We were welcomed by not only our host but also a very friendly donkey and Shetland pony (both are behind fences for those of you that are a little scared of animals).||||We were pleasantly surprised by our room which was really more of an apartment. It had a kitchen fully kitted out with utensils, plates, cooking equipment etc. There was a dining area with a fabulous farm house style wooden table and chairs. Nice big couch with a TV offering lots of channels (some English too). The bed area sits up on the left separate with some spacious storage. The bathroom was amazing with 2 sinks, a wet room (great shower) and a toilet. I think there was a room with bunk beds but we didn’t use that room. May be ideal for 2 young kids. ||Also, free WiFi||||Beside the sitting area is a huge glass patio door leading outside into the sitting area where there are some seats. It could be used a dining area or for having a couple of drinks. Great view too. ||||The breakfast was really nice which everything you would expect in the Netherlands. Cereal, bread, various meats, fresh eggs, croissants, jam and much more. ||||We were running a little late on the day we were leaving and kindly offered a lift into town which was very generous and reflective of how we were treated the entire visit.||||The only problem we had was not staying longer. I would highly recommend this B&B when staying in Turnhout and I hope to return one day.
